Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website pokaialtd.site and any engagement with Pokaia Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Pokaia Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 10 Crown Walk, Newmarket, England, CB8 8NG, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 103 262.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. Alcohol
No alcohol is sold or supplied on these premises. The sale by retail of alcohol in England and Wales is a licensable activity under the Licensing Act 2003 and requires a premises licence and a designated premises supervisor who holds a personal licence. We hold no premises licence and no personal licence and have made no application for either. Nothing on this website offers, advertises or implies the sale or supply of alcohol.
3b. Allergens and food information
Information on the fourteen allergens regulated under assimilated Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 is available for everything we serve. For food that is not pre-packed that information may be provided in writing or verbally; please ask a member of staff before you order. Our kitchen is small and ingredients, including nuts, are handled, stored and prepared in shared areas using shared equipment. We therefore cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of any allergen, and we do not describe any item as free from an allergen. Recipes, suppliers and ingredients change, and dishes are made to order, so allergen information given on one occasion should not be relied upon on another: ask each time. If you have a severe allergy or intolerance, tell us before ordering so that we can tell you what we can and cannot be sure about; where we cannot be sure, we will say so, and we may decline to serve a particular item or to cater an event rather than take a risk with somebody’s health. Nothing on this website is nutritional or medical advice.
3c. Food hygiene and premises
Food business operators must register with the local authority and must put in place and maintain permanent procedures based on HACCP principles. Premises are inspected and rated under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, and the current rating is published by the Food Standards Agency. This website states no Food Hygiene Rating and no hygiene score; please check the Food Standards Agency’s own ratings service for the current rating of these premises. We claim no award, accreditation, membership, certification, supplier endorsement or published review of any kind. Opening hours shown on this website are indicative only and may change without notice; please contact us to confirm before making a special journey. Menus, dishes, ingredients and prices change and are not an offer capable of acceptance.
3d. Takeaway, gatherings and the premises themselves
Hot food taken away should be eaten promptly. Once food has left the premises we have no control over how it is carried, stored, reheated or served, and we give no advice on reheating and accept no responsibility for food handled after it leaves us. Arrangements for small gatherings are agreed in advance in writing, including numbers, timing and every dietary requirement in the group; we may decline a booking where we cannot safely meet a requirement. Children are welcome and remain the responsibility of the adult accompanying them. Property brought onto the premises remains the responsibility of its owner. We are not responsible for the content of any third-party website, review platform or listing that refers to us, and listings we do not control may be out of date.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
